Two Charged Regarding Heathrow Alleged Pepper Spray Incident

Two individuals are now facing charges in connection with a suitcase robbery where a believed to be pepper spray resulted in harm at the major London air hub.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, have both been charged with two counts of robbery and charges for using a harmful chemical, authorities have stated.

The charges follow an probe of an assault at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal Three on Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women were robbed of their luggage taken after exiting a car park lift, authorities reported.

A three-year-old girl was among those injured during the incident. Five people required hospital care and were subsequently released.

The incident – described by police as was a standalone event and deemed non-terroristic – resulted in train delays and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking area for a brief period.
