Trump's Granddaughter Receives Professional Advice from Golf Legend Woods Ahead of LPGA First Appearance

Emerging athlete preparing for major competition

The rising star maintains impressive online presence

Kai Trump will have plenty of well-known supporters as she starts her professional golf debut on Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be connected to a former US president, received a sponsor's invitation to participate at Florida's Annika event in the Sunshine State.

The former president, someone who loves golf, owns numerous international courses and frequently competes against his granddaughter.

"He's fairly competent. I can't say much but we have tight competitions," she mentioned.

The golfer shared that her grandfather, unable to come, told her: "Just avoid anxiety."

"My grandpa basically told me to compete and relax," she continued.

"To me, he's just a regular grandfather. He's not attending for the tournament. He's busy with presidential duties, so he's rather occupied."

Being non-professional, the golfer has competed in a mere three competitions this year and holds ranking 461 in AJGA listings.

Yet she's able to seek guidance from Tiger Woods, in a relationship with Vanessa.

"He is the top athlete in the world," Kai expressed.

"Furthermore, he's a superior person. He advised me to go out there, enjoy myself, following whatever happens."

Kai will face multiple most prominent players in professional golf at this tournament, such as second-ranked the champion, England's Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.

The LPGA commented that her participation helps introduce golf to wider groups, especially reaching younger fans.

Kai maintains millions of followers and just introduced her own apparel and wellness company.

She begins at late afternoon GMT.
